The hottest service-business oppertunity is in the eldercare market. Seniors and their demographic are rapidly growing and have high disposable incomes. Either because of lifestyle/convienence or because of health issues they (or their familes) are consuming lots of services from personal consierge, consulting, relocation. Entrepreneur Mag. puts out a guide called 6 Senior Care Businessess that may be a good idea. Also, just do a little informal surveying. Ask business owners and persons what some of the things they may want to "outsource" or hire someone to do for them. If you hear any common trends, you may have identified a market for yourself.
