Ah, to be a kid again. That would mean going back to school, for me. My schooldays were really some the best moments in my life. It wasn’t because of the classes or homework. In fact, I never religiously finish all my homework, would you believe it? (But hey, I’m not to be made a role model of this, all you kids out there! Homework is good…)
I loved my school life for what it represented to me; of carefree life, with all the great friends I made, with all the teacher’s I have grown to love and respect, and lastly, it was where I began to know myself for the potential and endless possibilities that spread like a vast ocean before me.
How I would love to go back to those times; where I only knew of innocence and wonder, where I knew not to have preconceptions or mistrust. It was also where I learnt to love myself for who I was and not try to be any of those popular lemmings that some had tried to, unsuccessfully, emulate.
I would like to visit the old frangipani tree under which I used to have those giggly lunches with my best friends. I would love to lose myself again among the quiet but towering presence of the bookshelves in the old, vast library building. I would run freely on the field where I played numerous games from soccer to (gasp!) girl rugby….
So Enki, if I could ever be a kid again, even for a day, I would love to don myself again in that midnight blue uniform, go back to the old, beautiful school, touching once again, the rustic warm red bricks and lifting my gaze up to the graceful lancet arches along the quiet corridors, and revisit all those wonderful memories of my childhood and innocence….

well!
one minute.
yes
doing same which i used to do.
doing lots of mischieves, planning how to make friends
playing cricket in the evening
i think i will love to play cricket after completing my homework with no worries and tension.
i was very happy when i was a child but you can not say i was totally carefree.
i was always there to help and gave favor to my parents.
i usually try still to support my parents to keep them happy.
actually when you are a child you don't have duties and responsiblities and besides studies you have ample time to celebrate time like every day is a festival

What do you mean 1 day? I'm still a kid at heart even at 38. I believe in Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, and trick or treating on Halloween!

My father has passed away, so I would definitely spend a day with him and my mother. It would be like when I was younger and I used to crawl in their bed because it was 10 times more comfortable than mine and we just all spend the day enjoying each others company. Of course, a trip to Disneyworld with the two of them would be ideal too.

I would spend the day like I did back then climbing trees, playing with friends, exploring the forest around us, watching the animals and bugs, playing treasure hunt, gorging on hotdogs and junk. drinking all the chocolate milk I could, chasing butterflies, going for swims in the river, building little cabins in the woods and spending time (making lovely memories) with my great grandmother who always made me feel as if I was her sole focus in life. sounds wonderful doesn't it, if only life could stay that simple and sweet. I wish it could. how about you enki how would you spend the day?

I would spend it with my mother, who passed on 25 years ago. We would go to Paradise Island off of Nassau, before all those casinos were built, and spend part of the day snorkelling. Then we would go to our friends' house and have a nice dinner and play cards for a few hours.
