My favourite is Hayao Miyazaki. My favourite film (altogether) is Spirited Away. I have far too many reasons as to why I love it. I've seen Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Castle in the sky, and Princess Mononoke so far, and They are all GREAT. Castle in the sky and Howl's Moving Caslte are my 2nd favourite movie (I can't decide which is better).

All of his films are anime, by the way. I highly reccomend his movies.

Sergio Leone, especially because I like the spaghetti westerns he did with Clint Eastwood. Francis Ford Copolla is a another good one, so is Harold Ramis (directed Caddyshack, Vacation). And I agree with the post above regarding Kubrick
