Also, how do you think the loss of Alfonso Soriano will affect the team until he can once again play?

Yes they can...and I am a lifelong Brewer fan. The Brewers pitching is way overrated and the team is still actually pretty young.

No, I don't think the Chicago Cubs will be able to take the #1 spot this year. The Milwaukee Brewers are the surpise team to beat. And I think that it will make a lot of difference with the Chicago Cubs missing Alfonse Soriano, and it seems they have picked him as thier best player, and can't win much without him.

They will stay good without Soriano...I just don't know if they will be good enough to pass and stay in front of the Brewers...the Cubs and Brewers are both not doing very well right now.

LOss of Soriano will be tragic and I think that will keep them out of number l.

no because they're losing aramis ramirez aswell like they don't have trouble scoring runs right now and don't count out st. louis they are winning and only 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 games out

Completely Usless By September. thats what the cubs stand for. they might get the number 1 spot. but they wont keep it.
