Actually it's down just over 387 points but it's "down" to a wopping 13270.68!!!! You call that a plunge? Ten years ago it was below seven thousand for crying out loud. That means we're up almost ONE HUNDRED PERCENT since then. And my IRAs are up even more than that. If you hadn't bailed out of the market in 87 you'd likely be rich today. I'm more liberal than conservative but at least I can research the stock market with an open mind. Jeez lady. I didn't vote for Bush but his tax plan means I'm paying fewer taxes than at anytime since I began working over forty years ago. More people own houses than ever before in history and even with recent upswings, interest rates are near an all time low. Throw in unemployment at 4.6% and I'm sitting here wondering what you are down on the consevatives about. Hell ten years ago we considered 6% to be full employment for crying out loud.

Prediction: shortly after Bush leaves office, the United States will experience its worst economic depression in history, which - of course - will create a domino effect that will cause a global financial disaster.
Prediction: you will see the Republican party make a lame, mediocre attempt at winning the '08 elections. It will be advantageous for them to let the Democrats be in office when the depression strikes because Americans always blame the sitting administration for such economic catastrophes. Then the Republicans can come back strong in '12, promising to revitalize the nation's economy.

It dropped sharply again? Isn't this like the third or fouth plus time it has dropped sharply in the past week? Not good.
Edit:
"Material items mean nothing to this government. They are in a fight for souls. The economy falling into global depression would make them happy. It would scare the common citizen into giving up more of his constitutional rights and freedoms.
Beware of this deception and put your values into seeking truth."
You are wrong. Anarchy would consume the U.S. because the common worker wouldn't be able to survive, while the rich would still be doing well. The common worker would feel like a slave. There would end up being an overthrow of power.

"That means we're up almost ONE HUNDRED PERCENT since then"
Ever hear of inflation? Good inflation is bull crap. The percent you are looking at is an illusion. Its something you see that isn't real.

"Stock Market Plunges Following China Decline"
Isn't it rather odd that the stock market plunges are following China? We owe China so much money in debt that China could easily destroy the U.S. economy by converting the debt from American dollars to the Yen. It is possible that China is gradually doing the conversion in hopes that it won't collapse the world economy like it would if it were to convert all the debt value in one feel swoop.

Over the last five years I had begun to have increasingly withdraw into a downward spiral of depression..
But now with the method I can fully focus my energy and thoughts into a decisive line on how to make my life better constantly. And it works like magic! I'm beginning to attract people to me once again and things have just been looking up since then.
Helping you eliminate depression?
