We all take these things light of. But they are getting scarce and so high priced. I really did appreciate them all and hope they will stay around a long time. I think about my home its cool in the summer and warm in the winter, water to drink and gas in my auto. Do any of you think we might be taking these things for granted in thinking "they will always be here, what's the use in worrying? additude? Let me hear your thoughts.

ABSOLUTELY!!! Here in America we are so SPOILED. They say within the next thirty years that water is going to be our biggest problem. Then within fifty years there will be NO MORE fish in the ocean. I think with that being said, for us to survive and our children to survive, drastic measures need to come into place NOW. That won't happen until its gonna be too late to do anything about it.If we were smart we would have some kind of web site to guide those who want to live, before we can't do anything about it. Very scary!!!

I think it is a luxery and always has been. WE do take it for granted. I had a problem with hot water pressure for 6 mos in my house and it took 2 hours to fill up the bath with hot water. AFter process of elimination and alot of money the plumber finally was able to fix it this week and WOW you forget how good a hot shower is until you don't have one except a trickle of water. Gas is definately a luxery because for me anyway being in a one income household we have to ration it a bit more then we used. Long trips to the coast don't happen like they used to in the summer.

So long as you or someone there with you are willing to pay the price, all of these good things will be there for you - always. There will not come the time when any of these are not available.None of these are a luxury. The people responsible for bringing them to a market near you want you to appreciate each one of them more and more ( so the price goes up).

They will always be here while I'm alive. I've worked hard and I'm not cutting back on anything. Yes I'm taking things for granted. What's the use in worrying? Is my additude. Those are my thoughts. Can you dig it?

Of course they are and we take them for granted. Had a slight plumbing problem last week and it was a day before it could be fixed. You never appreciate so much as when you don't have it.

Given today's prices yes it is. The problem is too many people don't care.

Yes, we do take them for granted; and we have incorporated them into our modern 'standard of living.'
