No I think most of our wealth has been built upon debt, which is not a very solid foundation. I would like to see more emphasis on sustainable sources of energy. Also I have been very disconcerted with the current state of capitalism in the US. The dollar is the only bottom line, I wish morality was more important personally.

Just because people (mostly from Mexico, Central & So. America) come to this country illegally does not mean we are the envy of the world. It only means that due to geography, they have a better opportunity to come here than any place else.

The whole world includes Japan, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, it`s hard for me to think that they envy the our economy.

I would classify it as a goal for other up and coming powers to base their own markets on. China for instance, it is said that their economy will surpass America's by 2050.

Yes and that is why Muslims want to kill us and Russian want us to fall and China and the rest.
We are the one where people still want to and do come here and work in a low paying job ( note the legal way) and make millions. And have freedom to do so with out fear shake downs and death.

Yes but Democrats will change there minds by raising taxes so much it will throw us in another recession just like Clinton left us in when he was impeached .Cracks me up when Demotwits blame a bad economy on Bush.
