The Quote from "Dune" by Frank Herbert is a classic!
would I panic in a crisis? you like to think you wouldn't?
Faced it;
OK. Feb2006 mother hadn't been too well, phone call at work, she'd gone to visit a former neighbour only half a mile if that away on her mobility scooter, could I go as my mother wasn't too well. She wasn't well enough to go the half mile back home, so going by taxi, about 800 yards from the back door, in the back of the taxi she suddenly slumped, both breathing & heart had just stopped, it's somewhat difficult to perform full cpr in the back of a speeding taxi, i got them going, and the ambulence picked her up outside the front door. six weeks in intensive care further four on a ward. Overheard casulty and intensive care staff refering to me as a cold heartless emotionless personage, well i found that I don't panic just turn off any emotion and do what needs to be done! But nothing I could do almost a year later, such is life!

I am a man who walks alone
And when Im walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park
When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when its dark
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that someones always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someones allways there

Well my greatest fear has to be of confined spaces (Claustrophobia). Even when I'm just watching tv for example someone is stuck in a lift, I start to feel like I can't breathe so I look away and realise I'm in an open room and I feel greatful for it. But it makes me wonder how bad it would be if I was stuck in an enclosed space and how MAD I would go.

I had two - one is wasps. The other I confronted 3 weeks ago - the death of my beloved cat. Had her since she was 8 weeks old and as she got older, dreaded the day when we'd be without her. She was 17 and I feel as if a bit of my heart has been ripped out without the benefit of anaesthetic.

Fear.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
