the sum of the angles in a triangle all add to 180 degrees. If they are in a ratio of 2:3:5, then 10x=180
x=18.
However, the smallest angle is 2x=36 degrees.

The triagle must be right because if x=50 and y=40, the sum of the angles is 90. No matter what the x and y equal, the sum has to be 90 if the figure is a triangle.

The smallest angle is 36.
36+54+90=180.
x+y+x+y=180 therefore the triangle is right(2)

#1. 2x + 3x + 5x = 180
10x = 180
x = 18
So the smallest angle is 2x or 2 (18) = 36

#2. scalene
