How much does your first Prenatal visit cost?

Most doctors and midwife charge a set fee for all of your prental care and you're not charged "per visit." That way they don't have to bill you every month, and if you decide to skip several appointments, they will still be paid!

But it also means you can be seen as often as you like (even when you're not scheduled) so make it worth your while and use the services you are paying for.

My midwife charged $1500 total for all of the prenatal care and $2000 for the delivery and then a couple hundred more for labs and bloodwork.

If they do bill individually, it would probably be like $75 to $100 and you would pay whatever your co-pay is.

Well I have insurance and my only cost was the co-pay. It was $20 in my case. I think each situation is different though.
