Slim chance = Little probability
Fat chance = No probability

A slim chance means there is a small chance something might happen. A fat chance means highly unlikely.

I think slim chance means there is a very small possibility of it happening and fat chance means absolutely no chance.

They pretty much mean the same thing, but are said differently - slim chance you'll succeed, fat chance you'll fail.
Either way it's not good.

A slim chance is something that is very possible for something to happen. A fat chance is something that is not going to happen at all. It's a very rare chance for smething to happen.

a slim chance is a small chance - like one in one hundred.

People use the phrase "fat chance" is a sarcastic manner,
meaning that (whatever) is not likely to happen.

So in terms of probability, the 2 phrases are about the same.
but one does not say "slim chance" when one is being sarcastic.
