Do to getting a new job that only pays with Direct Depost (they do pay by check but it comes in the mail) I'm in need of finding a bank that would allow me to open an account even thou i have an outstanding account that is in chex systems. I was wondering if anyone that can point me in the right direction with this...

Take care of the responsibility instead of shirking it....Employers will pay you in paper, so this "direct deposit" thing is fallacious on its face. Do the right thing, and take care of your problem, and in 3 days... the Chex system hold disappears...

you mite as well forget gettin' a checking acct. untill you pay cashex.i know because i worked in a G-store for 14+yrs & i'm almost shure it hasn't changed it's policies yet,but who knows.only 1 way to find out.Try to open up an acct. & see. "BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T OPEN A ACCT. AT WELLS FARGO (cause you will be sorry you did unless you don't mind payin' a lot of stupid uncalled for fees)" C-YA ELMO
