I don't think life really has any "sense" or meaning. It is really what we make of it. You notice that everything that feels anything (in our hearts) is a subject of something we learned as a child or subconsciously.
People throughout history, and even today, answer the meaning of life with religion, philosophy, science, etc.
The truth is, there really is no meaning to life. If birds or animals could talk, they wouldn't know what to tell you, they're too busy gathering food for the winter or protecting their young.
But, I do know that I have asked a similar question to myself, and for awhile, I struggled with it. I realized that it is in our nature to enjoy ourselves. Plus, we have plenty of years to be non-existent in this world. For tons of years, I did not exist, and I have these few years. After I die, there will be tons of more years that I do not exist. These few years that I do exist, there are a lot of things I can find out, because, I realize that it's in my nature to learn, to find out, to experience, and to taste what is there.

These factors are more likely to be unrelated than most things!!!
Sense is not a requirement for living otherwise we should all not live... nothing much in this world truly makes sense when you really look deep into it...! One must stop taking everything so terribly seriously otherwise our flexibility is frail!
There is sometimes much sacrifice in leaving... sometimes it may seem unbearable! However all thing must pass. Even pain passes! Dying is a permanent act... Sounds to me that such a permanent act should almost never be used to resolve any event in life... which are mostly momentary! Depression, mourning, most illness, and other terrible things are momentary... ending life is terminally absolute act which there is no way to turnback if it is a mistake! What if tomorrow can be another better day! One never knows! And most of the times it depends more on yourself and your perspective than any external factor!

Yes we need a good reason to live here otherwise all of our activities are a useless waste of time.
We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies.
This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. I have found the purpose to live and a good reason to die but we must wait for the creators time for us to die otherwise we will get a ghost body who suffers incessantly until their actual time was meant to be up.
Those who are intelligent take up the process of Bhakti Yoga (self realization) which is the art of living and dieing. Then at the end of life they will have the ability to return to our eternal Home where their is no more birth, death, suffering, old age or disease. I choose really living and dieing.

Your question is not very clear. "Good reason for leaving" what? If you are merely rephrasing the question, so you mean "leaving life," we can focus on factual issues. Sense to you or to others? A good reason that is good to you or objectively good? At any point in time or place, or at a specific point? In your life or someone else's, or the universe's?
No one life "makes sense" out of its context, No one point in time can be used to determine if a life has "sense." Until the life has been lived, we cannot know if it "made sense." And none of us can make sense of our lives because we are too close to it.

Nah, I can't see that one at all. I can only think of one or two reasons to die but dozens of reasons to live. Dying is for losers, pal. Having a go is what life is all about.

It can be. If the reason for my being alive is so that my death will provide life or take away pain from someone else, then to me, that is a good reason for living.

For God's sakes, you were given life. Live it instead of asking pointless questions and wasting it away!
