Yes it could be whiplash . . . many times you don't feel the muscle strain until the day after the accident. Take tylenol or advil for the pain. It will take a couple of days for the pain to go away. Try ice now while it's an acute injury.

Yes, people make light of what is known as whiplash.... believe me it can be very serious.... yes, you feel it at the time of the accident... but the next day the pain is very bad and takes a long time to get better.... a soft collar helps take the weight off but it is still very bad. don't mess around... see a specialist you can damage disc's in your neck and may have to have a fusion surgery.

Yes, the next morning is the most common time for it to manifest. Sounds like classic whiplash to me!

You should expect to be in some kind of discomfort/pain after being in a vehicle accident (depending on the severity). If you don't think it's severe enough to seek medical attention then I'd suggest taking some type of pain killer. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

It's the result of a soft tissue injury (or injuries) that happened at the time of the accident. In that it can possibly cause you serious problems later, have it checked out by a doctor.

Twice, I didn't feel mine until the day after the accident. Felt fine the day of. Horrible the next.

It actually happens at the time of the accident, but sometimes you don't know it until the next morning.
