I would say thank you nice knowing you and hit the delete button,. that's a rude way of saying something. Its one thing to want to stay out of it thats OK just say that you would rather not get involved but what you have there is plain rude

Ok everybody deserves the right to initially vent just to get it out of their system so they can then rise above it and move on after accepting the things that are thrown their way.

However, if I continued to go on and on about my issues, I can see how it could become exhausting to my friends. In their minds they probably are thinking that they added me thinking I might kinda sorta maybe be fun. If I am no longer fun, well, I probably deserve to be told that I need to get past my troubles and move on. In the long run I would probably appreciate their honesty, slap myself into gear and get back to the good life.

I have had that happen for real. It is a shock and you get very hurt and embarrassed. But now I understand why people go blank when someone else talks about the problems. It's contagious. Ignore it and don't be hurt. We are all trying to survive.

I'd indicate toward the block button and say... "There's the door, f*** off!"
