For your example of 582 x 2
this is the same as asking for 2 x 582
so you want two of 582
multiplication can be simplified into addition
two of 582 is
582 + 582
which is
1164
Here is another example: 3 x 75
is the same as 75 + 75 + 75
which is 225

Multiplying:
582 * 2 = 1,164
2 * 582 = 1,164
Dividing:
1,164 / 2 = 582
1,164 / 582 = 2

It's entirely possible that your issue might have come up before multiplication? With regards to addition, using this as a starting point, do you understand where the logic of multiplication came from? It would be very difficult to understand division without first having a good grasp on multiplication. You can try to post some things on here and people can reply as good examples, but it might be a better idea if you were to rather find a good book (or I can recommend one) that covers these topics or find a tutor that understands the theory and can walk you through it. Hopefully this is somewhat helpful.

Well to me when you are speaking about help in your maths and in multiply and divide, well this can be solve in a very simple way of doing practice of try to question on multiply on remember by heart and when you have done this then for sure it will be easier and when you are doing it then for sure it will be solve in every question and when you are doing it then it will take time to solve it and when you are doing it then for sure it will make to do it in a very fast manner way and when you are done then you will master it.
