There were some cute messenger bags at Famous Footwear the last time I went. And everything there this weekend is buy 1 get one 1/2 off (applies to everything in the store).

well u could get a messenger bag but another suggestion if u want something else thats cheap and def adorable is to buy a to buy a tote bag and u can find those like everywhere for cheap and they fit alot. but my altime favortie messenger/tote-ish bag was at the gap but it was like$50 but very cute. but look at totes at victorias secret and stuff. good luck!

I thought I saw some really nice ones in Kohl's; I was actually going to purchase one... than I said to myself, I think I'm kinda up there in age to be wearing a messenger bag...so I don't know if you want to take my recommendation, but if I were young enough to carry a messenger bag, I'm pretty sure I saw some nice ones in Kohl's.

It depends on your budget.
If you consider $80 or so dollars to be cheap, Vera Bradley has VERY cute messanger bags.
Target usually always has cute back to school stuff so I'm sure you can find one under $20 dollars there.
Also try department stores. They can be pretty cheap as well.
