I'm on Y!A because I'm trying to avoid life today, and at least this way I look like I'm working and people leave me alone. As to why I'm 'here' as in 'alive'- I used to be here to take care of my beautiful husband, but he passed away last September. Before that I was here to care for elderly people. Before that I was here to take care of kids. Before that I was here to learn and grow. Before that I was here to be a joy to my family. Right now I'm here to council others who have lost loved ones. I keep it simple.

I have no way of finding a reason as there doesn't appear to be one. In fact, there really isn't any reason to ask why. The drive to ask that question is learned and not natural.
You have know way of finding out and all efforts to do so only cause misery.
