Is anyone familliar with demons or spirts?

Question

Is there a type of demon that possess the soul of a lost lover and comes back only to prevent its partner from continuing their love life.

And, a demon that continually comes after a lost lover because they broke some type of promise the two made.

And I need to know the type of weapons and items that exorcists use to dispel the demons and spirits. I need a list of practices, cults and a few other types of demons themselves.
Who ever gives me the most they get my next 3 best answers,this is very important for a story I'm witting. Oh and whats a Spriggan?

A spriggan in a mythological creature that originated in Germany that steals children for its own reasons or it could also mean a second flood or it could mean and Ice age..... Now as for an exorcisms all you need is a Bible or a very very old demonological book that sends demonic spirits back to their world so to speak and binds them there never allowing them again to return to this earthly dimension........ And a great deal of faith and stamina to out wait some very nasty demons.......................................................... A Cross and Holy Water are just window dressing... Also all demons are capable of doing what you mention.........................................

This is a hard one. I have never heard of demons who possess souls of lost loves, or who comes to right a wrong done to a lover... I would think that if that happens, you are dealing with a lover who is a sorceress or sorcerer and who is binding djinns or other low-level demons to their will in order to seek revenge.

Holy water, white candles, salt, obsidian, an athemae or consecrated knife are all things used in rituals to dispel demons and malign spirits. Since this is a story, you can pretty much use whatever method you would like. What kind of 'practices, cults' are you looking for? Demons, according to mythology, are fallen angels, so there are various types of them, but I don't think their ranks have ever been named, as the angels have - i.e., angels, archangels, seraphim, cheraphim, thrones, powers, dominions, etc.

A spriggan is a creature (a fairy) from Celtic legend. A tiny humanoid able to suddenly assume huge size to accost travelers.

I'm not aware of any demons of the type you describe, though there are probably stories of ghosts doing that sort of thing.

i did not know demons can come as lost lovers the form they have come to me is the form of my dad and its usually in my dreams only 3 times have i seen it while i was awake
