ok, i have so much overflow of good quality patterned material. ive made pillows out of it & i knowthat i can also make clothes but i need other ideas. please also give websites and/or other resources if possible.

How about quilts? ...from small lap quilts or baby quilts to full size bed quilts.

You could also make simple small ones and donate them to a local kids hospital for patients or seriously ill babies, or donate for kids who have to go into emergency foster care, or even to nursing homes, etc.

If you're interested in that idea, there are national and local groups that make the quilts, then donate them to various groups of people. Project Linus is one of those groups... and here are many more:

Applique' is fun to do with fabric scraps. You can cut out the pieces and iron them on using 2 sided fusible web and then use a blanket stitch around the outside of the design. You can do this on tee shirts, sweat shirts, make small ornaments, wall hangings, etc. All sorts of fun stuff!!! There are lots of patterns available too.

You can take your pictures and make a collage with a background with the differant cloths.

You can make cloth covered books, or glue on lampshades.
