Origami is a really fun hobby. This site is aimed at beginners and has full videos that show you each fold (they don't assume that you know different bases like many books do)
The address is http://www.Origami-Videos.com
Best of luck to you!

The first thing you need to teach yourself is the different folds. Once you master them, there are all kinds of free web sites with directions. This web will teach you the basics. After you learn the basics, the second site is a really good one with directions.
