Yes that is very normal. At 12 to 13 you could masturbate 3 times a day and still be normal. Masturbation is okay, healthy for you and there is no wrong in doing it. It is really good for you and helps you to develop sexually so it should be done whenever you feel the need. ENjoy manhood and be safe

Yeah lil dude, it's normal. Enjoy yourself. But, do remember that it is a private activity, so remember to lock the bathroom door, or keep the covers on, or whatever. You don't wanna get busted by a family member or whatever. Thats really embarassing if it happens. And clean up after yourself too. Don't forget there are other things to enjoy while you're growing up too, like riding bikes and stuff. Don't let it be the only thing that occupies your mind.

It is normal to masturbate. But too much masturbating is not normal. WHY? Because you will having a decrease in sperm count and the brain specifically the pituitary gland will not resting in producing hormone necessary for spermatogenesis (production of new sperm). Spermatogenesis is a process and it takes time in order to produce sperm. SO if you keep on ejaculating, the tendency is you will have a low sperm count every time you ejaculated. And for long term result, you will have the tendency to become infertile and since the pituitary gland is near the brain, there is also a tendency you'll become mentally psychotic. MASTURBATING is normal but too much is not NORMAL.
