I think he should go, but theres only ONE kicker in the Hall. But Vinatieri is clutch and as automatic as they get. He's also got more FGs in the postseason than any other kicker. Not to mention hes got 4 rings and a few Super Bowl game winning kicks..

No question. He was the foot responsible for winning the superbowls, or getting the team to the big game. He's the most clutch kicker in nfl history.

Very few kickers would deserve to be in the Hall - and Adam is one of them.

I can't see why he wouldn't be put in the hall. I'm a big pats fan and I honestly don't believe they win 2 or even 3 of those championships with out him. Brady and the others were good but Vinatieri pulled it off when it counted.
So he's got my vote.

I think he should, but his chances are slim. Like you said, they very rarely induct kickers into the Hall of Fame, and with only 6 inductees a year, the deck is stacked again him.

Too bad, because we all how important he was to the Patriots back in the day.

Vinateri will be there when Tom Brady is inducted, sitting in the audience. Jan freakin Stenerud is the only special teams player in there. Vinitieri will have to get in line behind Ray Guy, Morton Andersen, Gary Andersen, the Del Greco clan, and even Jason Elam who holds a record that Vinitieri will never touch.

Well actually he should already be there he has my vote when it comes time to it and he sure has set a high mark for any other kickers out there to make it in later on

I think so definitely. He was vital to multiple super bowl winning teams. I think they don't recognize many kickers so that when special guys like this come along they can be noticed for their significant contribution.
