Your respondents obviously come from America. The rest of the planet sees Bush as committing genocide against a third world country, so he can steal their oil/wealth/land whatever.

All of the answers are up there with the "My $hit doesn't stink nor does the USA's"

Remember people, we went there on a set of lies and bogus reasons, that doesn't make it any more right then the holocaust or any bogus war.

Just because one was used to exterminate a religion, and this one is to exterminate terrorism with a kill ratio probably in excess of 300 innocents to 1 terrorist, doesn't make it anymore right then going after the few Jews that fit the profile the Germans had.

What I find amazing is we still justify this war, even though we have since found out all the premises were wrong.

That is like accusing a black of murder, then finding out he didn't do it, but still maintain he could have, because he's black and still execute him.

Peace

Jim

Nothing has matched the Holocaust in any way except for the effort by Stalin to destroy the independent farmers of Russia during the early 30's.

The "jihad" against the Western world and Israel by the radical Islamics is reaching the level of the Holocaust and may well exceed it.

When you use the word "Criminality" in reference to Iraq, please explain to whom and what you are referring to. Any "criminal" acts committed by individual members of the American, British or other military forces in Iraq are certainly different for the actions of people who abduct and kill massive numbers of people, explode car bombs in market places, outside hospitals and schools, etc.

It's not the same thing at all. The Holocaust was an organised attempt by a military government to wipe out a whole people, while in Iraq you have sectarian militias randomly killing civilians who belong to a different ethnic group

Probably not.
The only dead children I've seen on the T.V were ones killed by American and British bombs. They're probably as much "right up there" than the Iraquis themselves.
Theres something wrong somewhere, the troops went in to end Saddam's evil doing ,OK. But there was'nt any AMD, the countries now in total chaos, and American GIs are raping little girls and torturing people like the Nazis did.

you make that statement as if the U.S. is the one's that are killing the Iraqi's. If that is what you believe and attempting to call bush a Nazi what are you trying to say about the troops that are over their risking their live so you can post stupid questions on here?

lets see.. 6 million Jews, 3 million Gypsies and handi-capped killed by gas/lined up and shot/suffocated with exhaust fumes/starved in the ghettos or however they were killed.. some used in experiments.. many used as compost to grow the vegetables outside of the death camps... many turned into furniture.. hair used to create clothing.....

you really can't compare the two... and I don't even think we should be in Iraq.

I believe its is a horrendous war crime but comparing it to the Holocaust only weakens your argument. The holocaust was done with the intent to wipe out a civilization while this crime has just been done without caring who or how many die. I know there is a very thin line between these 2 crimes but there is a difference of intent.

I hope that you aren't calling our military criminals, because they are doing their jobs in conditions that none of would want..if you want to blame anyone blame the polititions who voted to authorize this war..Bush may have lied about it so shame on the house and senate for not getting all of the facts
