I've never tried this but you could, in the movie The Departed with DiCaprio and Matt Damon, DiCaprio ordered cranberry juice at a bar and the guy next to him asked if he was having his period, because he said that's what his girlfriend drinks to ease the pain. I'm not totally sure on this, but hey no harm in trying right?

Take two painkillers and draw yourself a hot bath (as hot as you can possibly stand it). After wards, relax with a cup of hot tea.
Or, if you have a heating pad handy those work great too.

You can stop cramping by stretching,massaging, and use a hair dryer to blow over the cramp area...it really helps...

i use ibuprofen. a heating pad, maybe a hot bath. they also sell pamprin and motrin to help with menstrual cramps. good luck.
