factor the "x" terms and the answer is obvious. Two x's minus one "x" leaves a single "x". If this is done eight times, then one has eight x's. Therefore the answer is 8x.

ok i just did this last year you do 8times 2 =16x - 8 ..asumeing x is = to 1 16x-8 = (16-8=8) 8x
