You can lose your mucus plug and still go full term. Don't panic...I lost mine at 36 weeks with one of my babies and I still wound up 2 weeks overdue! But make sure when you go to the doctor you let them know. That way they will check you. Just watch for contractions and keep timing them if you have any. If you consistently are having about 4 or 5 times in a row and they are 5 min or less apart you need to call the doctor right away. Good Luck and Congratulations on the new baby!

P.S. If you are still concerned and still need some peace of mind, call your doctor! That's what they are there for.

You can still have a while 6 weeks. The first time is usually a slow and tedious process. Subsequent pregnancies usually result in a shorter labor. Good Luck.

Well it can be a few weeks, also the mucous plug can actually "replenish" itself if labor doesnt start within 24 hours and you are that early. Good luck, dont worry youll be fine.

You can lose your mucous plug months before delivery. Don't worry.
