I recently decided I want to go through with a breast reduction surgery. My boyfriend hates the idea, due to a lot of different reasons. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites or just advice in general on how to make him understand that this procedure will make me so much happier. Oh, and for you guys out there dont worry, I have enough boob to go around for 3 differrent girls , so him thinking my chest is gonna dissapear is not an excuse! Help!

Sorry to hear he isn't supportive. Perhaps he should carry around a five pound sack of sugar around his neck for a weekend and see if his back bothers him then?

My fiance was very supportive of my breast reduction. He understood that I have serious back pain due to my big breasts and supported me throughout the surgery and recovery.

This website helped me out a LOT and my fiance also checked it out as well. It is a very good FAQ section as well as support board.

My fiance LOVES and plays with my breasts every night. He loves how perky they are! Yeah, he loved my Big Old Boobs, but he loves my reduced perky breasts!

Do not let anyone's opinion against the surgery sway you from your decision. It is YOUR body and YOUR back.

my boyfriend thought he would miss my old 40ddd boobs before my procedure, but he was still ok on having it done. as soon as john was allowed to see me after my surgery i lowered my blanket and showed him my smaller *Still big, 40c* perky breasts and he said it was love at first site. he loves my new found confidence and it's not even been 2 weeks. he finds me even more sexy and he says he can't wait until i heal..lol i think my fiance loves my new boobs more than i do.

just let him know you feel really unsecure about yourself and let him know of all the pains associated with large breasts *numb fingers, headaches, bra strap pain, rashes*. because after the surgery all that is gone..IMMEDIATELY and you gain so much confidence (not to mention i lost 6lbs in 3 hours lol).

when it all comes down to it - it's your decision. don't let his biased opinion get in your way of making your life more comfortable. if he threatens to leave you over this improving surgery then chances are he isn't too concerned about your well being and doesn't deserve you anyway!

I can't help you out website-wise, but I can say that he is being selfish. YOU come first in your life, not him. You're the one who has to live with the back-aches, etc., not him. Tell him to get over it. If he doesn't, he isn't worth your time.

YOU are the one that has to carry them around and deal with them...it's easy for a guy to like large breasts, they can play with them for a while and then go on their way.

Do what works best for you...it won't take him long to learn that when his partner is happier, he'll be happier too. ☺

there is no reason you need to convince him. It is your chest, your decision. Besides it's not like you guys are married! Tell him to get over it.

If your boyfriend really cared about you he would totally understand and would back you on your decision. It sounds to me that he is being seflish.
