No that is not weird that the blood is brown....why because in you Uterus builds up layers if blood. When you have your period the last comes off..its usually the brightest and when your ending your period the first layer that has been there for a while comes of and its brown!!! So no its not weird!!

That's normal. It's just old blood. Many women get brown blood at the beginning (or end) of their periods. It will turn red soon.

That's totally normal - period blood can be brown, even black, as well as bright or dark red. Brown is just older tissue and blood.

Yep, if it's only your second time. It's just dried-out blood, because you haven't got as much dripping onto the pad.

In your next few, you should see a lot more blood, and it'll most likely be red.

yea, your probably just shedding some of the lining that didn't come out last time, is this your second period ever? or your second this month? If this month, thats REALLY common with breakthrough bleeding.

It's perfectly normal, and it sometimes happens toward the beginning and end of your period. It's different for everyone though.,

i think its becuase the blood had been waiting for so long or sumthing like that and possibly it is a mix of blood clots as well.
