I think Norwood has a very slight advantage.
1. Bell was jettisoned from Denver because he's a fumbler, he would wear down physically at the end of games, and couldn't get it done around the goalline. TJ Duckett could be a TD poacher.
2. Jones is hurt, and on the PUP list, but he is progressing in his rehab, and could still take his job back.
3. Dunn is OUT, and old. Even when he returns, Norwood was drafted to take the starting roll. Dunn will be back and command some carries, but he's worn down a lot.
4. In limited action, Norwood has been explosive. Atlanta will lean on him to help Harrington progress, and keep drives alive.
We just won't know until the preseason is further along. I like Norwood better, but he's an injury risk too.
Proceed with caution.

Flip a coin. These two guys each have advantages and disadvantages that make them a risk as a bust or a boon as a sleeper.
Bell currently has the job in Detroit due to injury (foot) to Kevin Jones. Norwood currently has the job in Atlanta due to injury to Dunn (disk hernia surgery). Wash.
If Jones does somehow come back from the foot injury in time to make a meaningful impact (see Shaun Alexander last year), Bell's value will fall off. If Dunn comes back from his injury, Atlanta will probably still go with Norwood the rest of the season. Advantage Norwood.
Bell will line up at the receiver slot this year. But, TJ Duckett will take away a lot of his goal line touches. Norwood is a lock to have the starting job all season. And, he will be the running game with Vick out. But, with the Falcons in such disarray, they may not make many trips down to the goal line. Wash.
Like I said, flip a coin. If both were available as the 2 best RBs in the draft and it were my pick, I would probably take Norwood. And, hopefully, I would have two other stud RBs in previous rounds to fall back on.

Norwood, much less opposition and his team run lots greater advantageous than passes. The Lions are a great passing offense, i do no longer think of Tatum Bell gets that many opportunities to polish, yet I nevertheless think of he will have a good 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

I just saw sportscenter and they were talking about how the detroit coaches talked non stop about how Bell is looking very good in camp and may win the starting job because of kevins injuries.

keep bell because hes the favorite to win the starting job and the lions offense should be pretty good while the falcons will be a mess w/ harrington starting.
