My girlfriends and I are recent college grads and are planning a trip to Vegas for New years. I have never been to Vegas and I am wondering if this is a good choice?

Yeah it's a good choice. But rooms are MUCH more expensive on New Years. They are usually about three times what they are normally. If you want to stay on the Strip on New Years a "cheap" room would probably cost you $400. But if you can afford it, it's one hell of a party !

Yes it's a good choice. Vegas is packed for new Years and there is tons to do. If you want to see a lot of the town it may not be the best time since there are so many people. But if you're looking for mingling and meeting new folks, go for it.

Vegas is ALWAYS a good choice for New Years. They close off Las Vegas Boulevard for it and have one humongous party. And it's still 60-65 degrees out on Jan 1st at midnight (unless it's windy, then it'll be about 50-55 instead).

New Years Eve rocks in Vegas. Make your reservations early, they tend to sell out, even though the prices of hotels increase.

It's a good choice, however, if you haven't booked now...good luck on getting a hotel. Hotels on New Years are usually blacked out. That means if you do find a room expect the prices to be jacked up considerably.

I have heard that Las Vegas is totally amazing at New Years I have only been October or November. Love it

i wouldnt go to vegas for new years if i were you cuz everything will be packed! you wont be able to do much and you will be waiting in all kinds of lines...but personally i would go for new years cuz ive been to vegas like 100 times already so i did it all and seen it all already

It is every year but you should book now b/c the prices are expensive and get even higher towards the end of the year.
