It seems to me that it would bring them to their knees and force them to provide decent service.

A good idea but i think it's too late for that now. Too many people will not be willing to give up their cabel tv.

Well, u could b like me where my mom cut my household off of DirecTV 'cause of a mail mishap & b stuck w/ a lil over ten channels. I'm lucky that I came across a America One affiliate, which has CFL games. But if you're satisfied w/ judge shows "That 70s Show" reruns everyday, Catholic & Spanish programming, & local news, then go 4 it! Boycott away!

I DID IT. Had to withdraw but I did it. Sick and Tired of being a part of
"WE THE WUSSIES" making excuses for companies that in the beginning said they had to charge because:
No Commercials. Once that was going well after they added infomercials and everyone to busy enjoying the tv, including me. Then the price goes up and up and up and commercials along with infomercials get longer and more and more added and we do nothing. SAD..
I AM DONE.. TIME WE ALL STOOD UP AND BECAME " WE THE PEOPLE " on many things.
Sick and tired of being Sick and Tired. The more we let slide (example above) the worse it has gotten on many many things. Sad to read responses above

If you want decent service switch to DirecTV of Dish.
A boycott only hurts you, and you will NEVER get enough support to make it work.
Comcast is the devil incarnate, so just switch to the dish.

It would bring me to my knees before it did the cable company. Actually, I have satellite, but the effect would be the same - I can't see living without my sports packages.
