I'm not better than anybody!! For those of you who don't know, you get TC when you have more than 10% BA in one category. Therefore, I have no control of getting it or not. So your hate is really misplaced. And no, I don't spend 24 hours a day here!

It has been that way for a long time. My contacts, who are TCs, have a lot of problems. One has been deleted and one quit for a while because of being targeted. I asked a question about TCs getting violations and a lot of them said they got more after becoming TCs and some didn't want to be a TC.
I know I never want to be one and made that clear to Yahoo.
Jealousy, ignorance and stupidity are what the problem is.

I know what you mean, but I have to say that I like mine. Some people win sports trophies, others got honor roll, I have a Top Contributor badge. It's only fair :-P

No, i do no longer hate it. something like this purely would not inspire that lots emotion. The Holocaust, terrorism, cruelty to a individual, cruelty to an animal. those can inspire hatred. Even then, I try very complicated to temper it. yet right individuals? No.

You get Top Contributor by the number of questions you've answered I thought...not by how many best answers you have. I could be wrong though.
I don't see any hate? Maybe some ridicule because it does take an awful long time to go up in levels unless you are here 24 hours a day answering questions.

i dont hate people with the top contributor badges i look up to them cus i want one but i think the ones that do hate they are totally jealous

It's like you need a love-object. People need hate-objects. We just don't celebrate it. You hear songs like "Somebody to Love" but never "Somebody to Hate." As for me - well,I don't have any gold bar that says I'm better than everybody,do I? I don't go traipsing around playing the elitist. I don't claim....well,you get the idea.
Basically,we hate you.
You gold bars are planning to take over and enslave everyone,I just know it. I think we should all act premptively. If you read my meaning.
