i have an hp omni book 9000 and i forgot the startup password. what should i do?

can i reinstall the whole thing or something?

hold down the shift key while booting and login as administrator (usually a blank password). then you can reset your passsword.

you should phone up HP and get the laptop fixed. if you tell them what happened they will sort it all out for you. or you could try going to a computer store and see if they can do anything. Gd luck !

go to change setting. click users account. click change a account. click on your account. click change password. so there yoy go.
