I received a check from my roommate but his check has no name or address on it. Will it still go through?

You can call the bank and talk with customer service rep. to find out if there is enough funds in this acct before you deposit it or you can go to her bank and cash it. I have done it many times.

It's a temporary check. He must have just opened up his account. He needs to write his info at the top of the check, where it would normally go, and it should go through just fine.

It should be OK. Checks are like that when you first open an account.
