Here is what I found:

Ears: wipe the ears from time to time with a moistened tissue. If he is scratching his ears a lot, he may have ear mites or an ear infection. Both of these should be treated as soon as possible as this could result a hematoma or swelling beneath the skin. If this occurs, then surgery is needed.

this one discuss's ear mites:

ear mite information:
What are the symptoms?

Kittens and puppies with ear mites will scratch around their ears and/or shake their heads. The amount of scratching and shaking depends on the severity of the mite infestation. With more advanced infestation, the ear canals will bleed and either fresh or dried blood will appear inside the canal. Dried blood resembles coffee grounds. If you peer into your pet's ears and notice a build-up of a material that looks like 'coffee grounds,' then your pet probably has ear mites, although a bacterial and/or yeast infection is also a possibility.

Ear mites are very common, but still serious. Left untreated, they severely damage the ear canals and eardrum and can cause permanent hearing loss.

If mites spread out of the ears to other areas of the body, the animal may or may not scratch the area.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Veterinarians sometimes treat stubborn cases of mites with "off label" use of the drug ivermectin, which has not been formally approved for this use by the FDA, but has found to be effective in combating ear mites. More recent advent in the treatment of mites is the use of the following:

Frontline Spray by Merial Several drops of this medication are applied topically into the ear canal if there is no damage to the ear drum.

Revolution by Pfizer applied topically to pets every two weeks for three treatments then then used monthly if necessary to prevent recurrence if your pets are exposed to other animals with ear mites.

Acarexx by Blue Ridge Pharmaceuticals (a subsidary of IDEXX Labs) or Meilbomite -both are a topical ivermectin product is a once or twice application to the ears will eliminate ear mites.

Don't buy ANYTHING. Take her to a vet. She could have earmites which can get to her brain. Ears are nothing to fool with. You could do the wrong thing and push whatever it is further into her inner ear.

I am sorry but this forum is not the place for you to to be when you have a serious situation like an animal in pain. Please take your cat to a vet. She is crying for you to help her and that is the most responsible thing you can do.

It's either ear mites or fleas, or an ear infection. Any of those are easy to clear up. They can give you medicine for that at the vets office.

Firstly you are in polls & surveys,
You do need to get her to a vet at some point, she may well have ear mites.

These are easily treated but will drive any animal nuts!

it looks she had ear mites, that are very uncomplicated in cats. you ought to purchase over the counter drugs at a puppy keep. attempt to scrub her ears with a q tip. Mites are little white bugs, you generally won't see them yet you will see the black waxy stuff they leave in the back of. solid success

I don't know much about cats, but what I can suggest is that you take her to the vet, and soon. That way, you'll know what her problem is, and you'll know what to do.

Best wishes and God bless to you two! I hope she's okay...
