I'm 21 and I'm currently a D cup. I've been thinking about getting a breast reduction but after consulting with a plastic surgeon I'm going to wait.
The problem is I get a lot of unwanted attention, I have trouble finding clothes that are just my size, I should be wearing 4 and 6's but I have to buy 8s. Plus they make me look big, big as in fat.
What clothes can I wear to make them look smaller? I have black hair so I can't wear black tops.

The doctor didn't tell me to wait I decided to wait after hearing what the doctor said.
The whole balck hair black tops thing. My hair automatically blends in with the tops if it's black. No matter what else I'm wearing I look like it's time for a funeral.

Have you tried a minimizer bra? They spread your breast tissue out and can make you look a cup size smaller.

I have black hair and wear black tops all the time hahaha... does that mean I look like I'm going to a funeral all the time? :( thats sad. anyways um... have you considered taping them down? lol JK totally kidding. I mean if it becomes a physical problem then it's time to get a breast reduction, I know a lot of people who have gotten them and been much much happier. They were like size 2-4's and they were a D cup and in a lot of backpain. Anywho as for clothing... thats a toughie cause I wear a c and should be a medium but alot of time I have to buy like a large just to fit my boobs, which sucks. haha and thats just for a borderline C/D. Sorry I couldn't help much.

I had a reduction at 21. Before that, like you, I didn't want the "attention" I used to strap myself down..2 minimizing bras sometimes a sport bra over that. It cut a lot of the bulk out of my chest....I feel for you. I am curious why your doctor convinced you to wait. It is very hard being small ( I am also a size 4) with big boobs finding clothes.

I agree with the minimizer and sport bras. But I am also a d cup. I love the attention tho but that means I notice more when a certain shirt makes me look smaller. I have a shirt I bought from AE it's light grey and seems to be low cut. So I thought it would enhance them ya know. But on it's not low enough to show cleavage and the cut of the neckline draws attention to my neck and collar bone and my boobs look smaller. So just try shirts like that. Good Luck!

I had a reduction when I was 22. Best thing I ever did! Feel free to email me if you have any questions!! I had tha same probelms with clothes, and exercising and the unwanted attention. V-necked shirts help as well as well fittedshirts. Meaning too baggy and you look heavy, too tight and well you know how that goes!!

Try wearing a sports bra that will reduce the look of your breasts. I would also recommend learning how to sew. This way when you buy tops to fit your boobs, you can make them fit your waist as well. It might be a hassle, but hey it has worked for my mom! (she's a dd and a size 2 or small tshirt and has to buy large for her boobs)

Have you tried minimizer bras? They help a little bit.

What reasons do you have for deciding to wait?

Its your decision obviously, but here are a few sites to check out:

http://www.breasthealthonline.com an excellent FAQ and support site. This helped me out a ton before and after my reduction

Did you see just ONE PS? You should talk to at least three before choosing a PS.

sports bras are good for making them look smaller. Other than that, there's not a whole lot you can do about it.
