routine infield pop-up? I say YES, and I hope teams continue to beam him. I'm a lifelong Mariner fan, so I harbor deep resentment towards this traitor. He said all along during the 2000 season with the M's that it wasn't going to be about $, he wanted to go to the team with the most potential, blah blah blah, he spun it every which way but loose, the consumant politician he is, and what did he do, 10 years TX Tom Hicks, 252 million. Do I blame him, No. But you should've heard the crap he was saying to the Seattle media during the 2000 season. He said a billion times it wasn't going to be about the money. He shouldn't have said that. I hate this guy. He is a prissy loser, he gets manicures and pedicures, he has his haircut once a week. No one in baseball likes him. He's the Kobe Bryant of MLB, no friends. Jeter hates his guts.

Anyone who is stupid enough to have a nickname like A-Rod is just setting themselves up to be called Gay-Rod. Just like Andy Roddick in tennis.

BUSH LEAGUE! - the 3B moved out of the way, he thought the SS was calling him off the play.
Rodriguez broke one of the cardinal "unwritten" rules of baseball >What he did could get guys hurt<
I know if I had been pitching that game I would have taken care of the situation the next time he came to the plate. There are situations where the players on the field have to police the game.

Boston does Not need A-Rod to come over because they have won 2 tittles without him and are going to be there next year as well. The Yankee fans are so screwed up right now because they had the team they thought could take them to the top with their A-Rod's and Jeter's and Abreu and Jiambi and so on and so on the list never ends, but they have failed year after year. Everybody knows that A-Rod is the best player in the game but Boston has a real good chemistry and A-Rod seems to be in team conflict everywhere he goes. I am a true ball fan and would love to see the Sox with A-Rod talent but am not willing to risk what the Sox have right now. God bless RED SOX NATION and it is so sweet seeing Yanks in trouble, Girardi...............hahahahahahahahaha... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We see players distract others all the time when a runner will slow down and jump a grounder to throw off a fielder. On one hand you should say the fielder is getting payed, so A-Rods yelling shouldn't have fazed him. On the other hand what message are our kids learning? If you get away with it, is it ok? Very un-classy, unsportsmanlike and shows the sign of a sore loser. As much as I liked him growing up... money, and things like this can turn his fans away.

It sure is, if you look at the clip, you can tell that he said "Mine!" not "Ah!" like he said to the media after the game. My favorite Gay-Rod moment was when Varitek got him in the face, then picked him up and dropped him to the ground. I also liked when he slapped the ball out of Bronson Arroyo's hand like a little girl. I think A-Rod is like the kid in the 5th grade DodgeBall game, that takes everything a little too seriously, and finds little ways to cheat, and make the game less fun for everyone else. You know who I am talking about, every school had one. They never go out when they are hit, and they complain when others do the same. Oh how I hated kids like that. Thankfully, MLB pitchers have a way to deal with people like that, they call it "CHIN MUSIC"!!!!!

Yeah, it was bush league but still nothing wrong with it. Hell I would do it too. And don't believe any athlete when they say it's not about the money. I mean Cleveland fans are still pissed at Thome because he said the same thing. What else are they going to do, be honest? If they are they will still get criticized.

I'm a big Yankee fan and I thought that was Real Bush League. I lost all respect for Rodriguez with that play. Its just like when he swiped the ball out of that 1st baseman's glove. He is bush league.

Yeah it's bush league but I don't mind stuff like that as much as I mind the cheap slides he, and recently some of the other Yankees, sometimes does...breaking up a double-play and trying to take someone out are completely different.

Oh it's definitely bushleague. However, pro athletes will do anything to try and win a game. Is stealing signs bushleague? I would say yes but they are playing to win.

It's not A-Rods fault that everyone on his team hates him. I'd really suck too if everyone of my teammates and fans hate me. Who wouldn't?
A-Rod, I hope this guy finishes his career someplace nicer.

They said before they were enemies now there friends. And he's not gay.. the only one who is gay is you. A-Rod is the youngest player to get 500 home runs he'll prob get 756 home runs faster than Barry Bonds. So don't go saying crap.
GO YANKEES!
