Yes, and then I swore never to fall in love again. My poor husband had to put up with me for about 4 or 5 years before I could actually honestly say that I loved him.

My parents broke my heart, too, but that has also healed.

I have had many break-ups, however, my heart was not really involved so I survived. Now, it's been three glorious years of being madly in love and I totally want to stay this way for the rest of my life!

More than once. After heart healed, realized for me it was true, better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. No regrets-past is what it is.
