Last time I checked Political Science, it is the People that gives government the right to govern them! The People also have the right to Stop abusive and opressive government. Rudy's brand of government does not fit the bill of freedom and shoot to kill unarmed citizens by Gestapo style police departments! People have not forgotten his rotten politics in NYC.

This is a quote from a speech in 1990 about fighting crime. This is a nation of laws and by passing those laws, we give the government authority over our actions. Seat belt law anyone?

This is not about freedom as a whole but about freedom from crime.

Rudy Guiliani is an idiot. He also believes it's fine to shoot an unarmed black man 42 times when he reaches into his back pocket for his wallet.

yes. i believe it. because in order to have the freedom to live my life in order and peace I have to stop at stoplights, drive on roads, stay off of others' property, not do illegal drugs, abide by laws about noise, business, whether i can beat my children, whether i can take liquids on the airplane, whether i can yell fire in a theatre, etc etc etc etc.

We are a republic, a land of laws.

What do you want anarchy? No government, no laws, just people doing what-ever they want regardless of how it effects the next person.

Or are you 18, and not found appreciation of our laws yet?
