Well you can stop when you are full or if the mayonnaise has gone bad.
Personally I hate warm mayo, cold only. So if it reaches anything above room temperature I won't eat it at all.

Try substituting recepes and things with no fat sour cream.
I use that in all boxed pasta salads that call for mayo - its just so gross for your body!
