I am pretty well off and enjoy my single life. I have lived with women in the past and it wasn't for me....I don't want or really like kids. And I also don't believe want I earned financially should be put at risk. No, prenups are not iron clad either....So why on earth would I ever want to marry?

Well maybe you actually fall in love with a woman who wants that and you dont think you want to live without her, even if it means giving up all that security you have with your material things....BUT i dont see any reason you should feel OBLIGATED to want to get married....all people lead a different life and no one should judge you for your own decisions....

As of right now you sound like a life long bachelor and plenty of men live happily that way until they die. There is a chance that as you age and your opinions and likes change, you may have a different outlook. You're certainly not a candidate for marriage at this point, but as the saying goes, "never say never". You just never know when someone is going to pop into your life and change your views on marriage and growing old alone. Keep an open mind but enjoy being happy while youre single.

Why should anyone talk you into it? People marry for all sorts of reasons, have kids for all sorts of reasons...if financial stability is your #1 prioirty in life....play on!! Trying to live a "risk free" life?? good luck to ya! Seems to be alot of money issues tied to your life and happiness...so be it!!
But remember.....it can get lonely out there with no one to share your life with, married or not, financially sound or not.
Best to keep an open mind....always. Who knows? You may find someone more materialistic and wealthy than you.

You shouldn't marriage stinks. Every thing you just said is every reason not to get married to some whore who is just gonna yell at you and try and tell you what to do. Live it up and party on until the break of dawn.

so, don't get married then. I think its great that you are fulfilled solely.... Lots of people never get there. Kudos to you! Don't mess up a good thing. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
