I skipped December, started Jan & Feb 1rst, started in March, skipped April, and had two cycles in May. I was under alot of stress about graduation and other problems in my life. I haven't had a period since May. A few days ago I spotted brown for two days then it stopped and now I just have a few signs that maybe it is coming. Little things like my chest getting sore and other small pains, or maybe a little bit of spotting.

Please no one word answers such as "Go to the doctor."
I will be going to a doctor.
I need personal stories, they are much more comforting. ^_^

yep your schedule was alot like mine. DOn't worry too much about it stress does ALOT to making your periods irregular and driving you nuts even more. Haha anyways relax take a day of pampering yourself and once you relax your period will become normal. if you want to force your period to become normal just so you're sure of when to get your period you can go on birth control for a little while not even a year, and it'll get normal it just needs a little boost. At least mine did I went on it for ltierally a month and I got sick of the whole taking a pill everyday thing and said oh screw it and took myself off of it and since then my period has been normal and that was about 2 years ago.

I had the same problem my freshmen year of college. Serious stres,, had my period 13 times in one semester. Sometimes they were normal, sometimes just enough to know I was bleeding. I went to the doctor and talked to him about going on the pill. Turns out the combination of eating different, exercising different, sleepign different, adn stress that freshmen year brought on was enough to seriously mess up my cycle, plus I was young. I think it's possible that it's stress. I know you said not to say see the doctor, but if you're on the pill and are having these problems I woudl definitiely recommend it. If you're not regular on the pill, it's not working right. If you're not on the pill, it could help.

I am really sensitive to things happening in my life.... the slightest hint of stress or excitement and I can miss a period. As I have got older it has got better. I am now pretty regular but it took quite a few years!

Don't worry. This happens to me all the time! I missed 3 months one time. It may take years for your body to get regular. It's all a part of growing up! :)
