Can freshwater puffer fish live with guppies and tetras? Are there any websites where i can order freshwater puffer fish?

All Puffers are very aggressive fish, and for the most part, should only be kept with their own species. They would tear the Guppies and Tetras to shreds. Puffers are also very picky as far as feeding and will only eat live or frozen foods. They will not take flakes.

The general rule is that puffers are best kept in a species-only tank, meaning keeping them either by themselves or ONLY with their own kind. They are highly aggressive and territorial to other fish.

Da soup nazi is right. Also, puffers (and their relatives, trunkfish) are often capable of secreting toxins when stressed.

my green spotted puffers are living with guppies..babies ones even. but i am told as they get older they become more agressive.

Yes, Fish do not have eye lids so you can't really tell. But if they don't swim and at the bottom that means they are asleep. Hope this helps! :D

I dont know whether they would be good tank mates or not but here is a website for live fish that i have used with great success in the past.
