Would a creature like a tortoise have an afterlife ?

Would you know of faiths that would believe that another living creature besides man could go on living after it's death in another ream of life of some kind?

It depends on who you ask. The party-line abrahamists will tell you that, no, it doesn't because it doesn't have a soul.

Many karma / reincarnation based faiths would support an afterlife for all creatures because many believe that just because one is human in this incarnation, one is not necessarily human in the next (or last).

Personally, I think they do because I see the interconnectedness of all life and I don't believe that humans are so important (or stupid depending on your intrepertation) as to need multiple existances to learn all there is to learn.

I don't know why humans have to be so arrogant and think that they are the only creatures to have a soul.
I believe that we all came from single celled organisms. (which we basically did ex. egg/sperm) then we are all produced basically the same. So why wouldn't other animals have souls too.
I just cant stand people who think they are the greatest creatures on this planet.
There were many creatures here before us..there will be many after us. So what makes us so special that we thing that we are the only superior ones.
So yes if humans have souls then all living creatures must too.

Depending on what you mean by realm. Reincarnation theories usually applies to everything including turtles, and can include multiple realms, including heavens and hells.

The energy that is inside of every animal cannot die, so its spirit must go somewhere when the physical body dies

there hav been reports of ghost dogs and such, i dont see why i couldnt happen to another animal
