Ehh...it use to be good back in the day. But now the quality people put out is bad.

gangsta rap is fun to listen to and makes you feel gangster. It also describes real **** from the ghetto so you get a feel of the "hood" I disagree with people that think rap is crap... I mean rap is pretty hard to make. You have to have beats, catchy or violent lyrics, and a good flow. I can also see why people hate it though.. Lots of it is usally about bling, sex, drugs, and violence. The new gangsta rappers are starting to piss me off. The old ones like snoopy dogg and dr.dre are real ogs :)

Old school gangsta rap is great...Eazy E, Dre, Classic Snoop...but the new rip off rappers who use it to make a buck annoy me...not to mention their music is terrible

It doesn't bother me, but personally I prefer rock. The only thing I don't like about SOME rap, is that it expresses many bad negative feelings and hate.

frankly I think it's disgusting. It's like people in prison who are doing hard time talking to their buddie in the same cell. Who needs to hear that junk. It doesn't teach anyone anything. I think songs should be either romantic, tell a story (not about drugs, addiction, police, jail, addictions, etc.), have a good beat to dance to, or are fun. lol, guess you can tell I'm from the bandstand era (when everything was fun and clean).

I HATE it. It takes no talent to make. I appreciate the original rap of people that invented it, but nobody that got famous for it. It is all about image. That might have been different had it not been for MTV, but what can you do. I think it all sucks.

I'll take Tchaikovsky or Iron Maiden over rap any day. I'd never listen to rap.

i don't like rap for the simple fact it talks about sex, drugs, and violence the things that are wrong with society today. and when our kids here it they think that kind of stuff is cool so they do it.

like all music it has to place for some people myself i listen but dont like the hard core stuff dont like being called the B word or other nasty names as female
