Will they pay him? Will he continue to hold out and miss games? Will they trade him?

only time will tell, but this situation has been going on since around draft day. I had been hearing rumors of them trading him since then. Even if they do agree on somthing it's hard to imaging that irreperable damage hasn't been done.

LJ is the Chiefs offense, and as much as I'm growing to hate the Chiefs GM (Carl Peterson), I know he realizes the same thing and won't be able to let LJ get away. The team says they're retooling with a younger franchise - if they don't get LJ signed they won't be retooling, they'll be free falling to the bottom of the NFL. I think the holdout will continue, but not until the regular season. LJ doesn't need all the preseason work anyways. After all those carries last year, an extra few weeks of rest could do him good.

Most likely the Chiefs are going to pay up the $ that Larry deserves. They can't afford to lose the best player on their team. He's the only real superstar on that team. If they don't pay him he'll probably get traded...the Chiefs can't afford a holdout from Larry for the whole year so I say he'll be signed or traded by at least Week 3.

I think he will continue to hold out because hes only scheduled to make $1.7 million this year. And if he keeps on carrying such a large load, he'll be effective for only a couple of more years and then his body will give out.

The best thing for the Chiefs to do if they don't want to pay him is trade him. They have Priest Holmes back, so they have a running back. I think that LJ will continue to hold out and miss games if they dont trade him.

Honestly, he is going to HAVE TO sign with the Chiefs. There is no way they are going to trade him. If he decides to sit out he will be hurting himself. Other teams will view him as selfish and may be a little more reluctant to give him a big deal. Plus, losing the reps will definitely not benefit his career.
They will end up compromising sometime before the start of the 4th preseason game. He'll end up sitting it out but will be the starting back at the season's opening kick off.

If the Chiefs are retarded enough to let Johnson get away, then the Chiefs will have no offense. They don't really have wide receivers that everyone knows. Without LJ the Chiefs' offense isn't that good. Their defense already was pretty bad. So no LJ is pretty bad news for the Chiefs. They can't let him go.

I think they will eventually sign him. A player as good as that does not need to play all the preseason games and probably could afford to miss a couple weeks of camp.

they'll definitely pay him. Their offense is centered around LJ and if they choose to let him go they'll realize how bad they REALLY are. If LJ is traded, I bet the Houston Texans are gonna get him.
