Like it but I know a lot of dogs named Abigail or Abby. It's also becoming a very common name too.

My grandma's dog was named Abigail...also, Abby for short. Hehe...it's a nice name I guess. Whichever you want, bcause whatever you name her, it's gonna stay that way for a long time. So don't let the peer pressure get to ya ;). Good luck =)!!

Just name her Abby from the get go.
There aren't any rules saying that you
have to go with the formal version of Abby.
Abby is cute, Abigail sounds like an old
maid's name ;-)

I have a cousin named Abby and I like the character of Abby on E.R. so I like the name.

looove it! before, i only liked abbey and haaated abigail but since then its really grown on me. i love that :)
have you thought of changing the spelling of abby to 'abbey' . i know its a one letter difference, but i like it with the 'e' a lot more, but without is fine too though !
