Great, barry bonds used steroids.. big ******* deal. Seriously its such BS about people talking about a "tainted record" STFU. QQ. Who cares? There are numerous players that have taken/take steroids, and do you see them hitting 756 homeruns? no, i dont think so. speaking from experience, it takes a little bit more than some steroids to hit a 90 + MPH baseball. i mean i could just go on and on, but it just pisses me off thinking about it.. OH and one other thing. His elbow protector. HAHA. "He wouldnt have hit so many without it." you HAVE to be kidding me. it all comes down to, americans just like drama and just hate on everyone who does something good. theres numerous examples, and this is why we are going to fail as a country. gg.

anyways, barry bonds is the only one who has EVER cheated in the history of mankind? like i said, keep on hating. whenevr someone accomplishes something good its just all the haters. Barry bonds made my children cheat. lol, typical.. america? yeah. what? do you honestly think that IF in fact barry bonds got his record taken away and whatnot, that people would say "o no, im never cheating again!" oh and i forgot that HGH was some super healing drug that made you NEVER get injured. ok. so im sure all of you have never cheated to get you SOEMWHERE at some point in your lives, thats what im hearing. give the guy a break, he deserves it. adn the whole "bat speed incr. w/ steroids" its about the quickness of you hands. if you played baseball ever past a Tball level, you would unders

It is kind of difficult explaining the concept to someone of limited brain capabilities like yourself. First off, people like myself have not made a moral judgment on steroids, from my understanding if prescribed by doctors it can have many medical and health benefits, plus many of us have done many things that is against the law. Now that being said and I want you to really consider this because it is important. Not every player in baseball chose to take steroids, but many players did. The players that did gave themselves an unfair advantage over the players that did not. Well you can say that it is their fault for not taking them, but you really can not come to that conclusion because some players have religious reason to not take drugs and steroids have been known to kill and damage users if not taken under the care of a physician. Look at pro-wrestlers, look at Lyle Alzedo, look at Ken Caminiti, all dead.. These are examples of the dangers of steroid abuse. Now we have kids taking them in High School because they have this delusion that they will go pro also, risking their health just to get good at sports, that is BS. Now you have to consider this also. What if Babe Ruth took steroids? What if Hnk Aaron took steroids? What if Ted Willliams took steriods? My conclusion is that they most likely would have been able to hit more home runs then they did in their career because of the benefits of steroids. Also, How do we know how many homers Barry would have hit if he did not take them? Well we do not, because he alledgedly did take them, what if steroids only helped him hit 20 more home runs. Well that is 20 more the record should not have. Let us not forget that these drugs are against the law also. All that being said I still think Barry is the best player of our era, it is too bad he cheated though because that has tainted his image to me.

there's alot of idiots out there, my favorite are the hypocrites that cheered McGwire and Sosa in the late 90's and now want to roast them. Steriods weren't tested or illegal until 2 seasons ago and atheletes in all sports have been using them long before the current guys. BTW, haven't any of you idiots noticed that its been mostly pitchers suspended for steriods since they started testing? Have any of you noticed how guys like Schilling, Helton, Rameriz, Mussina and others have become very average since 2005? As for Bonds not being a HR guy prior to joining the Giants, please recheck the stats and you will see only 1 season in his career over 50 HR's and tons in the 35-45 range...just like Henry Aaron. Only difference is Bonds doesn't strike out, owns the walks record, hits for average and was once a huge threat on the bases...he's the best offensive player in baseball's history!

Chris, I back up EVERYTHING you stated! Everyone else, get over it. Check your sources. Quit being like the average American and jumping on the band wagon! & as for the guy who said Bonds was giving steroids to his kid... What the F*** are you talkin about?!?! Thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard of! lol & the elbow brace... how the hell does taht keep the pitcher from throwing inside pitches?!?! I wear an elbow brace when i play and no one has ever ever ever accused me of cheating because i have an elbow injury! Do any of you guys have proof Hank Aaron wasnt on steroids or any other drugs?!?! I mean really, steroids were legal back than so would we even know if he was on them.?!?! GET OVER THE ****!

You have to remember that HGH and a bunch of the other steroids allow you to recover from injury and fatigue faster, so it is not a level playing field. It also improves eyesite, allowing him to see the ball sooner and figure out the pitch.

The elbow protector makes it so the pitchers cannot pitch inside and thus he is able to crowd the plate without fear of injury.

If Barry hadn't been such a prick his entire career and cared about his team and the game, I don't think as many people would be hating him so much.

lets see Aaron admitted to doing "uppers" to keep him Sharp! just enough . Barry did creams, how and what did all the rest of greatness do? pitchers et all, just admit whether u like it or not, Barry is probably the finest complete ballplayer we have seen in the last 50 plus years. too many wanna bes jump on the "lets hate barry" but i would bet a whole lot of maney if any of the haters met him they would BEG for a autographed ball or bat!

bonds wasn't a big home run hitter at the beginning of his career....he was really small and skinny...and all of a sudden he became really big from the roids and started to hit more home runs...that's not right...u say it takes a little more than steroids to hit a 90+ fastball....every other person in the Major Leagues can do it...u make it like bonds is the only one who can

Barry Bonds is a cheater. Plain & simple. He could have NEVER achieved that record without cheating!

Think of the message this sends to kids. "Hey, if you want something and aren't talented enough to get it, just cheat! I did. I'm Barry Bonds."

I guess the more important question to ask is why any man would ever want to take steroids when the primary side effect is IMPOTENCY and the secondary side effect is passing severe disabilities on to any children you father?

I'm trying to see your point. Is it that cheating is okay as long as other people do it too? Is it that you think that his steroid use had nothing to do with any of his home runs? Or is it that anyone who has anything negative to say about someone automatically hates them?
