Hello

Please could some one explain what Hopper means, is this when you are at the park itself directly then like a bus to each park when you're in the park.

Also, can the pass be used any number of times to go back in - a normal Magic Your Way Pass, if you aren't on the resort, is it just one park per day, or can you go back more than once per day i.e. if say you go to Magic Kingdom for 2 hours, then go back to your hotel to put stuff back in room, then go to MGM Studios for 2 hours, then Animal Kingdom for 2 and so on.

Thanks
Andrew

The hopper pass will allow you to got more than one park in one day, as you listed in your example. You can go to all four parks in one day, two, one, etc. Whatever you choose.

However, if you don't pay to add on the hopper pass, you are only able to go to one park per day. So, you would be able to go to, say, Magic Kingdom in the morning, go back to your hotel, then go back to Magic Kingdom, but you are not able to to EPCOT, MGM, or Animal Kingdom, you must stay in the same park that you went in first that day.

You can go from the park to the next park if you wish (the bus service is supposed to be for onsite guests only, but they really haven't enforced it yet, but they are supposed to be soon) Or, you can go from the first park to your resort, then back to the next park, or whatever you like.

I'm not quite sure if you are staying onsite or not, but the way I understand your question you will be staying offsite. Be sure to check with your hotel to find out what they offer for transportation. Most offsite hotels will only have a shuttle in the morning and in the afternoon. So if you won't have your own car and you want to go back to the room for a nap, or to swim, it can be a little bit of a problem.

Hope this helps!

the following extract is from the disney site explaining the hopper passes hope it helps

4, 5, 6, 7-Day Hopper Passes
There are several variations here, which begin with the traditional 4-Day Hopper Pass that can be purchased only at the Gate, or the 4-Day Hopper Plus Pass, which can only be purchased online.

The regular 4-Day Hopper Pass includes your choice of admission to any one of the Disney Parks such as:

Disney's Magic Kingdom

Disney's Epcot Center

Disney MGM-Studios

Disney's Animal Kingdom

The 4, 5, 6, 7 Day Hopper 'Plus' Passes gives you the same choices at
Walt Disney World 'Plus' an extra admission (or two, or three, or four, all depending on the ticket) at your choice of the following Disney Attractions:

Disney's Pleasure Island

Disney's Blizzard Beach

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

Disney's Wide World of Sports

Disney Hopper Passes, as the name implies, allows you 'to hop' back and forth between the main Theme Parks of Disney on each day of use. Any combination you want: daytime, nighttime, 1-Park, 2-Parks, 3-Parks. Ride the rides at one Park, and see the Fireworks at another - it's up to you.

Note: If for some reason you didn't use all the days on the Disney 4, 5, 6 or 7 Day Hopper Passes, the 'unused' Theme Park days of this ticket never expire, So in other words, if there's a portion of your ticket remaining, you can come back and use it anytime! Even give it as a Gift! Disney Tickets never expire, nor does the 'Plus' function of the Hopper Passes.

Hopper means you can go to more than one park in one day. Example. You can go to Magic Kingdom in the morning and go to Epcot in the afternoon and you can still enter Magic Kingdom at night if you stay in one of their hotels.

A normal Magic Your Way Pass is that you can only go to one park per day. Though you can go to hotel and go back in to the park you went out. But not to other park, again if you want to go to each park for two hours, then you have to use the Hopper.

But trust me maximum two parks per day only if you want to do the hopper. It will be time consuming to ride the buses and waste of time. But if you stay in one of their hotels you can go in early 1 hour before the park opens and stay later than 6pm ( compare to those not staying in their hotels ) until the parks actual closing.

But pay attention park does not close up to 9pm always. Check with their customer service to know the schedules. They only close late once a week. Some two times.

You must purchase the park-hopper option to be able to go to multiple parks in the same day. You can go to as many parks as you want, as many times as you want.

If you do not purchase the hopper option, you can only go to one park per day. You could go to Magic Kingdom for a while, go back to your hotel to rest, and then return to the Magic Kingdom. You cannot go to any other parks.

ok. the park hopper is optional feature in a Magic your way ticket. the park hopper permit you switch from parks in the same day. for example. stay all day in magic kingdom. and view the epcot fireworks in the night. you ca switch from a park to another. without this option you cant do that. another option was the water park and fun otion or something like that. this option permit you enter to the 5 floor interactive park Disney Quest. its very cool and you can enter also to the two waterparks. but in fact this means park hopper. with park hopper you can swicth from one park to another in same day.

Park hopper allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day with the same pass, otherwise you are limited to one park per day.

Side not: Isn't Disney getting unreasonably expensive?
